People are not giving the importance it deserves to deforestation in the brazilian rain forest. We're seeing a judicial battle between IBAMA (who can give the licenses to the project of Belo Monte hydro-electric power station to be done) versus Brazilian government, who pressures IBAMA to give the licenses to install this project. Foreign ONG's and governments environmentally concerned should argue IBAMA about this project and those licenses, but nobody does nothing. Could it be that maybe they think there are more important subjects in the world nowadays?
